RESTORATIVE PEPTIDE FACE LOTION AND MANUKA HONEY

I’ve been working on a completely new face lotion , and I absolutely love how this formula came together.

I wanted something luxurious and nourishing, but still fluid and silky on the skin — so instead of creating a very heavy butter cream, I built the formula around Cherry Kernel Oil, Shea Butter, Sweet Almond Oil and Lanolin, combined with humectants, soothing ingredients and an advanced 4-peptide complex.

🍒 CHERRY KERNEL OIL

A beautiful lightweight oil naturally rich in oleic and linoleic fatty acids. It helps soften and condition the skin while giving the cream a silky, elegant feel.

🥭 SHEA BUTTER

Provides nourishing lipids and helps reduce moisture loss while keeping the formula softer and more fluid than the tallow-based version I originally considered.

🍯 REAL MANUKA HONEY

I used actual Manuka honey . Honey is a natural humectant, helping attract and retain moisture and leaving dry skin feeling softer and more comfortable.

🌾 HYDROLYZED OAT PROTEIN

A wonderful conditioning ingredient for dry and delicate skin. It complements the honey and lipid phase and gives the formula an especially soft, comforting skin feel.

🧬 4-PEPTIDE COMPLEX

This is where the formula becomes particularly interesting.

I incorporated an advanced professional peptide complex containing four different cosmetic peptides:

✨ Trifluoroacetyl Tripeptide-2 — used in anti-aging formulations targeting the appearance of skin firmness, elasticity and age-related changes.

✨ Caprooyl Tetrapeptide-3 — a biomimetic peptide associated with extracellular-matrix support and commonly used in formulas designed to improve the appearance of skin firmness and structure.

✨ Palmitoyl Hexapeptide-52 — a peptide used in anti-wrinkle formulations, particularly those targeting expression lines and smoother-looking skin.

✨ Palmitoyl Heptapeptide-18 — complements the complex as another peptide aimed at the visible signs of aging and expression lines.

Together, the peptide system is designed to address several aspects of mature-looking skin rather than relying on a single peptide. The manufacturer describes the complex in relation to collagen VII, fibronectin and laminin, as well as MMP-1/elastase and SNARE-related pathways. 🧬

💧 PANTHENOL + ALLANTOIN + MARSHMALLOW ROOT

A soothing and moisturizing combination that helps make the cream especially comfortable for dry, mature or stressed-feeling skin.

✨ VITAMIN E

Provides antioxidant support to the beautiful botanical oils in the formula.

And then I gave it a little personality…

🌸 A touch of beetroot creates its naturally beautiful soft pink color.

🌼 Jasmine & Neroli essential oils give it a delicate, sophisticated floral-citrus aroma — soft, feminine and luxurious without overpowering the lotion.

The finished texture is exactly what I wanted: silky, fluid, nourishing and elegant, rather than an excessively heavy face butter.
